So after a hard earned win over Golden State Warriors at home, Houston Rockets travelled to Charlotte to start another road trip of 3 against Charlotte Bobcats (Nov 26), and then a back-to-back at Oklahoma City Thunders (Nov 28 ) and Dallas Mavericks (Nov 29).

So can they extend their win at Charlotte???

Personally felt, they need to keep their intensity and energy, step up their defense, and avoid lapse of concentration for 4Q meltdown.

Luckily Charlotte Bobcats is in a similar situation as the Rockets with a 5W 10L records, and they played quite poorly so far at home with a 2W 5L home record.

The keys to this win would be defense, and whether Kyle Lowry could continue his top form in the past 3 games; he had been playing close to a double-double in the past 3 games with double-digit assists numbers, and had been organizing Rockets' offense well.

GO GO GO ROCKETS for another win !!!

Too much turkey on Thanksgiving???

After carving out a 7 points lead by 1H (26 ~ 22 1Q, 26 ~ 23 2Q), the Rockets starters suddenly lost their intensity and energy and played a pretty bad 3Q, lost the momentum, let the Charlotte Bobcats got on a 10 ~ 0 run at the start of 3Q, lost the 3Q 16 ~ 27, and fell behind 68 ~ 72 by end of 3Q, and now trailing 74 ~ 82 at the 7 minutes mark of 4Q.

Looks like Charlotte Bobcats is going to win a RARE HOME game !!!

5:00 HOU Chase Budinger hits the second free throw
4:42 CHA Boris Diaw makes a 19-foot jumper from the right corner. Assist: Stephen Jackson
4:23 HOU Chase Budinger misses a 26-foot three-pointer from the left wing
4:22 CHA Tyrus Thomas defensive rebound
4:08 CHA Stephen Jackson drives to the hoop for a layup

Some defenisve stops pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease !!!

After Chase Budinger got the game back to a 2-point game, Houston Rockets porous defense again let in 2 easy Charlotte Bobcats baskets.

82 ~ 88.... 6 points behind. 4 minutes to go.

GAME OVER.

Kevin Martin maybe a 20 ppg shooting guard. But his defense is non existing.

Very poor coaching decision in the 4th quarter. 5minutes left, down by 4 points and Scola still sitting on the bench and DOESN'T come in til the last 2 minutes.

Not in shape and form Yao won't be helpful and that will take some time, who knows how long it will take, or if he will ever get there is also questionable. Only time will tell. But if I were them, I'll just use this season to prepare for next season. This season is pretty much down the drain already.

lol it's not down the drain 15 games into the season. 8W 7L would make you the 8th place team in the west right now. you dont think a team can make up 5 wins over 67 games lmao

this team being crap is going to force both the players and management to look at Yao once he's back.

looking forward to next season wont do ******. they gotta make it work with Yao and who they have now.

Mathematically, sure you look at all the games they have left, they can make up. But that's just on paper. You have to look at the team the way they have been playing. If they don't play defense, I could careless if they have 100 games left in a season. You said about when Yao is back, blah, blah, blah...but when Yao returns, he isn't going to play big minutes while being in the top form to boot. He is still recovering and that will take time. Don't made it sound like when Yao returns, he will be in top form like he once was right from the get go. Frankly, this team needs more than just in form Yao in order to be where they want to be.
