Naaaaah, we don't need that kind of once-in-a-life-time miracle or heorics from TMAC alone. :roll:

Championship is not won by an individual; it is won by a team, and that include EVERYONE ....the coach, the star players, the role players, the scrub players, and the support of the fans.

I'd rather TMAC be wiser sometimes in his selections of shots, place more trust into his team mates, and the other Rockets step up fast to play around TMAC + Yao Ming, rather than just to have too much reliance on 1 or 2 star players or on those heroics that happened once in a life time.
:oops: :wink:

And I sure hope JVG can work harder on designing schemes and plays that can enable the Rockets to stop those pick-and-rolls of their opponents. Without such fix, such last minutes heartbreakers like what had been happening in the c!utch minutes of 4Q in this losing streak will happen again and again. :roll:

"We have to make our pick-and-roll coverage right," Yao said. "Coach (Jeff Van Gundy) said already that the pick-and-roll coverage is not right. We cannot stop a pick-and-roll high and outside. They always can get layups. Late in the game that hurts us."

REALLY ???? :shock: I did not see which other teams had that SAME and SERIOUS problem of pulling out your big men out of the low post to guard smaller and faster penetrating guards the way the Rockets is doing, very often resulted in either unnecessary fouls of the slower or clumsier big men, or easy buckets by the big men of the opponents. :roll:

[quote][size=109] http://www.yaomingmania.com/blog/index.php

How many times does it have to happen for this defense to get a clue and stop a penetrating guard?

Tack on Andres Nocioni scoring on an easy layup after Jeff Van Gundy had Stromile Swift come out to the perimeter double-team a point guard, leaving Nocioni open for an easy deuce, and the Rockets ultimately lost 94-89.[color=red][b] You

i mean every team has the problem of defending pick and roll.

those teams defending better often hv mobile big men, such as pistons and spurs.

if tmac just drives to the basket on half of his plays,,,,,,,,the rockets can be a great team.........he can do so much damage by going to the rim but yet he is just falling in love with the outside shot...........

Especially, when he jack up a transition 3, without time for the offensive rebounders to set up.
