It would tell them that even if Yao does not get ROY, he is ROY for the fans.
It shows how much the fans like us are supporting Yao.

even if Yao really doesn't win rookie of the year, that really shows NBA is all politics and no justice. There is absolutely no reason that Yao isn't the rookie of the year. Yao is the most deserving and let's just leave it at that whether you like it or not. Case close and GO YAO!
