He's 21 years old, why isn't he on the Chinese National Team?

He could make the National Team in the future.

How do you know he has national team potential? Have you ever seen him play? I think not.

There's going to be plenty of players fall through the cracks in the CBA's junior system. Their loss is another country/team's gain. It's good way for them to learn the game in another country if they dont make the highly competitive field in the chinese junior system.

Look at Xu Yong, he was one of the top prospect from Shanghai. Now he's playing in a Seattle highschool. I still hope he can make the jump to a div 1 college team and go to China to help the CNT in the future.

He's 6'10" so he plays power forward/center. CNT is loaded at PF/C . No way he can be as good as WZZ, Yi JianLian, Mo Ke. So CNT don't need him.

I would be more excited if he was a guard or small forward.

Actually Aaron Xia plays D1 Ball for The Citadel, though best of luck to this kid

edit------------------

as a matter of fact, he's given a verbal to Nebraska

I would have liked to see him at Oklahoma or OSU, cause they have a knack for big men while Nebraska is just... Nebraska...

ACC schools wouldn't have been bad either.. why go for a obscure school like Nebraska
