Sometimes it's so good to be team mates of Yao Ming !!!
Chuck Hayes' shoe endorsement with Li Ning had expired.
But it seems another Chinese shoes manufacturer had pciked him up.
Chuck Hayes was in Beijing for the past 2 days to shoot a commercial for his new endorser, and he celebrated his 28th birthday there with the filming crew/media & press reporter.
From the logo on his jersey, his new endorser could be Jordan (Qiaodan), a local Chinese brand.

And after his hectic but low-profile 2-day visit to Beijing, Chuck Hayes left Beijing yesterday.
But he said he now looks forward to visiting China again in July when he will participate in a roadshow in 4 to 5 major cities (which include Beijing, Shenyang, Xiamen and Shenzhen) to promote his new edition sports shoes.

*shrug* The power of marketing I guess.
Though I wouldnt consider Hayes a scrub in my definitions, more like a role player. |
