The gap got widened to 8 points now. 96 ~ 88.
The Rockets need someone step up in offense as well as step up their defense now. |

108 ~ 97. Crucial game lost.
No way the Rockets can win in this game as the 76ers bench completely out-scored the Rockets bench by 20 points.
Thaddeus Young (20 points), Lou Williams (15 points) and Andres Nocioni (6 points) combined for 41 points versus 20 points from the Rockets bench of Goran Dragic (8 points), Patrick Patterson (8 points), Courtney Lee (2 points), Jordan Hill (2 points). |

Well, the Rockets will need all the help from other teams to beat Memphis Grizzlies if they are to come from behind to pip the Grizzlies for the #8 spot.
First let's hope the Golden State Warriors can do that today. The Warriors is leading 53 ~ 48 by half time.
If the Grizzlies get beaten, then the gap is still 2 games apart.
But if they win, then it will become 3 games apart.
That will be almost impossible for the Rockets to catch with only 7 games left. |

Looks like it's not going to happen.
The Warriors got thrashed in 3Q (19 ~ 31), and is now 10 points behind in 4Q with a little of over 8 minutes to go. |
