Wang Zhelin and a bunch of Chinese U18/U19 players were in Melborune, Australia this week, attending 2011 Nike/NBA Asia Pacific Team Camp which lasted from September 26 to 29, and ended successfully yesterday.
The camp was structured in similar format to the usual Nike training camps, but with players from the same country playing against teams from other countries. Players of similar age groups from 4 countries (China, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea) attended the camp. The coaching staff of the camp included Horace Grant, Luc Longley, Ron Harper, Alex English, Jay Triano, Melvin Hunt.
China only had 7 players to start with. So in earlier matches, they had a 1W 2L record, losing to Australia 18 ~ 21, beating New Zealand 12 ~ 11, and losing to South Korea 22 ~ 23. (Judged by the low score, it could have been just a very short 5 vs 5).
Then on the final day of the camp, 3 more Chinese players arrived (Not sure why they arrived that late). Then China consecutively beat Australia and South Korea, to be ranked the #1 team in the camp, to be followed by Australia and South Korea.
And Wang Zhelin was voted the Most Valuable Player of the camp !!! |

Any idea who the big kid is who is standing behind the coach? He seems to be taller than Wang Zhelin, who is standing to his left. |

Before Pryuen rips you apart for such a statement, you better justify why you say that. |

I think that is Liu Yunan 刘羽楠 of Dongguan New Century Leopards.
Liu is from Harbin Heilongjiang, also of the Class of 1994 (official birthday: November 1994). He was 2.06M/6ft 9 when I last heard of him. He played the position of power forward.
Maybe he had spurted a few cm taller, or it was just a matter of angles how that photo was shot. It seemed to me Wang Zhelin was standing a little bit backward than Liu Yunan. After all, Wang Zhelin is now 2.14M/7 ft tall. |

From the following photo, Wang Zhelin is still taller than Liu Yunan who obviously also spurted a few cm taller.
These are the original 7 players with the camp: Wang Yue (Foshan), Rong Haofeng (Jiangsu), Wang Zhelin (Fujian), Gu Wanli, Zhang Youwei, He Jingjia and Liu Yunan (Dongguan New Century).
Then on the last day of the camp, 3 more players (all from Guangdong Dongguan Bank Hongyuan Tigers) arrived to the camp: Li Jinglong (son of Li Chunjiang, Head Coach of Guangdong Dongguan Bank Hongyuan Tigers), Zhangze Long and Yang Jinmeng.
Here is the offical photo of the China Team. And look at Wang Zhelin's legs. He has the thickest legs of all the players. Strong-built lower limbs but needs to work much harder on his upper body.

It is obvious that Liu Yunan is a bit taller than Wang Zhelin.
Even when sitting down, Liu Yunan looks a bit taller.

IT'S OBVIOUS YOU'RE A MORON !!!
The following photo ALREADY PROVED that Wang Zhelin is the taller of the 2.
Look at their legs, MORON !!!
Liu Yunan was standing closer to the chair, while Wang Zhelin was standing 1 or 2 steps back.

Liu Yunan was not even standing straight. Wang Zhelin was probably wearing thicker shoes.
Anyway, who is taller is not important. We now have another new big boy, who is big, agile and skillful. |
