Yes for past 80 years, Japan population has been in decline. They also never had a population boom.

China population has been steady. The farming lifestyle has been under-rated. When you grow your own food, income is and family size has different effects.

Everyone living in cities is not so great. But, if you live in China. You might not get to choose.

I think China doesn't always think Western = better. Because, that's obviously not true.

Meanwhile, pryuen still has not figured out the 4-2-1 problem that they are facing. The one child policy needs to be abolished.

It's not truly 4-2-1, and China is still over populated. In fact, the entire planet is.

At least China is pro-active about it, not like those fvckers in India.

White people are fvcked.

it's not overpopulated in relation to land mass or resources but China is definitely overpopulated in terms of who they can develop and support with infrastructure.

that's why the CCP holds at a stable 1.4 billion. that's the number the government thinks can reasonably develop and would still be large enough to muscle around its neighbors

thinking in purely economic and moral terms China could a be smaller and it would be better but I think the CCP is loathe to get too small so for the next few decades until they catch up they're willing to let few hundred million people suffer/live in poverty so they dont lose political power and military potential of being such a huge nation, esp vis a vis India, developing Korea, Japan and of course the US and Russia

it's not 4 2 1 superjean doesn't know what the ****** he's talking about. mathematically him thinking China will be 1/4 of the size in 20 years or w/e nonsense he's talking doesn't even make sense.

if you're worried about anything worry about the billions that are going to sprout in Africa through uncontrolled population growth and the amount of misery those people are going to suffer with butt rape, war, genocide and all the crap the Africans do to each other because they can't support themselves and about all the trillions Asia and the West is going to send them for the next hundreds of years so we dont see little black kids starving on our TVs. and all the hundreds of millions of Africans fleeing crappy overpopulated Africa who will be absorbed into the US, Europe and yes even China

China is not overpopulated like the Chinese government think. The problem was that there were too many farmers. Now, urbanized people are diversified in the jobs that they do.

The one-child policy resulted in not only an aging-population, but also gender imbalance, lack of funding for future pension.

Many people are saving for their retirement, which has slowed the private consumption growth.
