Well someone owned/humiliated someone BADLY 6 years ago......
And throughout the past 6 years, that someone just continuously tried to own and humiliate the other someone so as to seek revenge desperately, but unsuccessfully, and failing that, the someone had to revert to throwing personal insults and taking sniper shots at the other someone.

| Understood, however Pryuen would u happen to also be that someone? I see alot of insults/comments/biased toward you, can we be peaceful enough to havbe some decent conversations? |

he is Dr. Moranus because he was throwing insults around per usual and ridiculously conflated the terms moronic and ignoramus into igmoranus . even after being told this he steadfastly refused to acknowledge it as a mistake and for good measure ran around the boards for days bumping threads and emphasizing the term"igmoranus" pretending that he had meant to invent a new word and/or that it was a legitimate variation of ignoramus. what a Moranus.
as for his term of endearment for me:
1) he's too stupid to know who genghis khan is
2) the limit of his capacity for creative endeavor is somewhere south of 5 year old's
it's basically like calling Barack Obama: Butthead Obama. yes it's stupid but considering his 2nd choice was poo poo head, he's pretty happy with what he came up with.
Why we fight? as stupid as it sounds it's because of innout. year or more ago I got annoyed with him inserting into every thread how he'd"owned" pryuen concerning innout and after I tore into him one time he's been crying nonstop about a litany of grievances miles long and years old. as pryuen references his oldest and most stinging aggrievance towards me is SIX YEARS OLD. so I troll him until he gets tired and leaves YMM but whenever there's any sort of discord on the site, Moranus emerges from his lair to bump every thread he's been stewing about and snipe at everyone he hates.
the deal with this thread and blogs is that he specifically made a point of disputing that a source I posted from the latimesblogs was from the LA Times because though he repeatedly claimed to read the LA Times he didn't even know how to use the site. I trolled him over how he didn't realize that the blog edition is a key part of the news coverage on the LA Times site. for example all the late breaking local news (which he claims intimate familiarity with but somehow doesn't know how to access) gets put up on the blog because it updates separately from the print edition and gets directed RIGHT from the front page if you click on any of the local news links
anyway, I guess that particular bit of humiliation really made a profound impact on him because he's been poking around on the site and has discovered an entire new world. WOW THERE'S STUFF HERE ON THE ECONOMY AND ON CHINA TOO!!
Moranus is being Moranus. a week after denying that latimesblogs were a part of the LA Times, he's posted his own thread consisting entirely of posts and columns from the LA Times blogs lol. |

please be mindful that the only articles accepted into the academic journal known as my thread are blog articles from the LA Times
no other sources will be accepted (or relevant) as clearly everything here has been posted online by an official newspaper and is thus the last word
This thread operates best when shallow morons accept on faith anything that is written ONLINE. As such nothing I post can be logically corrected, refuted, refined, analyzed or disagreed with (which is convenient to me as I have no thoughts of my own to begin with). Remember about these articles I cut and paste: some WHITE people wrote it. yes none of them have formal training in economics or China but they are white and they were published online by a newspaper I have heard of. it is gospel
also keep in mind the thread is ONLY for posting cut&paste of articles. no individual initiative in terms of analysis, opinion, external knowledge (general or expert) or discussion will be allowed.
this is how Moranus rolls. cut and paste from the LA Times means I know what I'm talking about by association
